How to make $500 a month in dividends?
In order to get a dividend of $500 per month, you would definitely need a portfolio of stocks that pay dividends and have a good yield. This means you would have to have about $150,000 in stocks that pay dividends to earn $500 per month if it has an average yield of 4%. By calculation, it would be $6000 per year. But you would need to diversify the investments into reputable companies.

That is a very sensible explanation. Alternatively, I will advise to reinvest dividends at the beginning so that your portfolio can compound quickly.MarketMavin wrote: Fri Aug 15, 2025 4:34 am In order to get a dividend of $500 per month, you would definitely need a portfolio of stocks that pay dividends and have a good yield. That is true, however it also lies in the ability to select the combination of high-yield and growth stocks. Depending on a single sector will also put your earnings in jeopardy.TheSmartInvestor wrote: Sun Aug 24, 2025 3:56 pmThat is a very sensible explanation.
