There are those traders which prefer to sell during the decline and others buy when they view upward trends. Currency pairs may move quickly and the strategies may require the right timing and risk tolerance. Many make small gains here and there all day long, and others are long-term investors.
Buying or selling the currency usually boils down to your risk tolerance, the amount of capital you are operating with, and whether you can remain disciplined when the market turns against you.
Do you buy or sell currency pairs?

Mostly I buy because I usually enter during long-term trends. I'm just not a big fan of quick trades. But there are also many traders who sell, trying to profit for the short term movement especially during corrections.
