Is Warren Buffett a value investor?

Post by TheSmartInvestor »

WARREN BUFFETT is definitely the king of value investing! He has created his wealth through acquiring undervalued stocks with a high growth prospect and he stays long-term based on principles of the economist Benjamin Graham. Yes, he is definitely a good example, do you know any other value investors?

Yes, Warren Buffett is a great value investor, but of course he adheres to the ideas of Benjamin Graham. He acquires underpriced stocks and makes huge gains from them.

Warren Buffett remains a value investor. One of his quotes: Price is what you pay, value is what you get. He advises investors to identify stocks trading at a discount to their fair values. In addition, the underlying company must have an edge over its competitors and can defend its market position for a long time through patents, brand name, strong distribution network or regional monopoly.
