How do wealth managers get paid?

Post by TheSmartInvestor »

Wealth managers received their pay in the form of fees or commissions or by the percentage of the assets they manage. There are those who work on fixed fees and those that earn on the investment products. The ones to go for depends on your preference and your personal goals.

I think the service fee of wealth managers is proportional to the value of the assets that he is managing. It is either they charge a fee on the services they offer or probably receive a commission on the investment assets.

Yeah, it is normally on a fee-basis. But some wealth managers are paid a percentage fee based on the assets under their management which actually makes their their interests, and that of the client grow.
