Asian Markets Rally While Africa Eyes Oil Reforms

Asian stocks jumped this week on hopes of global monetary easing. At the same time, Nigeria is pushing for unified oil reforms across Africa. To me, that sounds like a smart move energy has always been our continent’s backbone. I still remember fuel shortages back in 2016, and how hard it hit families.
  • Asian equities climb on positive sentiment
  • Africa discusses unified petroleum regulation
  • Potential for more foreign investment
Do you believe oil reforms can really benefit Africa long-term, or is it the same old story?

They've said “oil reform” for years. nothing changes. Same faces, same corruption. I don't think this time is different.
