Nigeria’s Economy Grows 4.23% in Q2 2025

This is a good news from the National Bureau of Statistics. Nigeria’s GDP expanded by 4.23% in Q2, the fastest pace in almost four years. Oil output picked up, but agriculture and industry also held their ground. Honestly, this feels like a relief after so many quarters of slow growth. Back in 2022, I remember businesses closing in my area; now I see more shops opening again.
  • Oil production boosted revenue
  • Industry and agriculture added stability
  • Fastest growth since 2021
Do you feel this growth on the streets, or is it just numbers? Join the chat and share your take.

I kinda believe it. like one of the shops near me that closed since covid actually reopened last month. That feels like things are moving slowly, not great but better than nothing.

Growth on paper, it's not growth in pocket. Food is still double the price, and transportation is too high. I really don't know where they are seeing the 4% because I can’t feel it personally.
