The most favorable bond for investing will greatly depend on your investment goals. On the safety side, government and treasury bonds are considered to be better. Corporate bonds carry slightly higher risk, but they might be enticing due to their higher returns. The municipal bonds holders may also have a strong tax advantage depending on the area they reside in. Mixing these types of bonds often provides a great balance.
