Most schools do not teach financial literacy and this is because they do not have it in their school curriculum and there are no trained teachers to teach financial literacy. A lot of the students were able to acquire knowledge on money management based on trial and error, instead of utilising formal education.

It is so sad that financial literacy is not taught in schools! This is probably the most important skill people need. Money management is a life skill that everybody must have.

Financial literacy should be included in our school curriculum because without it, many people will end up spending money foolishly very early in their life which they might have saved for the rainy days.
