The easiest commodities to day trade are usually gold and crude oil, due to the fact that they are very liquid, meaning that there are active buyers and sellers in the market, which makes the prices move significantly enough during the day to offer decent trading opportunities.

I agree with gold and oil. There is a lot of trade and news around them and this provides enormous opportunities.

I agree that crude oil and gold are very popular. Silver is actually a good alterative to gold. It also offers excellent opportunity for traders because of its volatility and liquidity.
