What is an example of a forex trade?

A forex trade example is when you purchase EUR/USD pair where you think the Euro is going to increase relative to the US Dollar. In case the price goes up, and you are able to sell it at a higher rate, you’ll make a profit. You can also go short as well, which would imply that you would sell and then buy back later with a lesser price.

EUR/USD is a typical example and it's probably the most traded currency pair.

EUR/USD is a typical example and it's probably the most traded currency pair.
GBP/JPY is another option that you may like to consider should you desire a greater volatility.
