Do I get profit in equity?

If there is an increase in the value of your share capital, obviously you have made a profit. Thus, if shares are bought at low prices and sold at higher prices, the profits, which is the difference, is yours to enjoy. So, it's very possible to get a profit when you invest in equity.

Yes, you can profit in equity but you need to know that capital gains is not the only source of equity profits, it can also be in the form of dividends.
